Southern Sun BioSystems and the Marton Research Laboratory are honored to have Mr. Michael Birch representing world-wide sales and marketing for their bio-energy crops.  Mr. Birch has over 30 years experience planning and implementation successful projects in the fields of agriculture, mining, rural electrification and general infrastructure improvement.  During this time, he has been associated with the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank and worked as a consultant with the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) as well as with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).  In this new millennium, he has been pursuing the prospects for sustainable development in North America, China, Africa, and the Caribbean with particular focus on renewable energy and bioremediation.  Since 2004 Mr. Birch has been dealing with the Marton Research Laboratory and Southern Sun BioSystems, Inc., and has been very impressed with both the basic micropropagation research and the prospects for establishing bio-energy crops using their new technology and methods for in vitro plant propagation.
