The Nurseryman®
Southern Sun’s fully automated, environmentally controlled plant production system capable of managing temperature within +/- 2°C under direct sunlight.  The system includes CO2 enrichment capabilities, from subambient to ≥ 5000ppm, computerized controls and 69 square feet (46 cubic feet) of growing space.  Systems applications include faster and better tissue culture acclimation, germination and rooting of somatic embryos, germination of seeds and rooting of plant cuttings for Biopharming, Nursery and Timber.   The Nurseryman® can be designed in a series and set up as a network for larger applications.
The Botantist®
Southern Sun’s full-height tabletop, fully automated, environmental control system for plant sciences research. The system is capable of managing temperatures within +/- 2°C under direct sunlight. The system includes CO2 enrichment capabilities, from subambient to ≥ 9000ppm, computerized controls and 23 square feet (57.5 cubic feet) of growing space. Applications include: somatic embryogenesis, tissue culture, seed and cuttings studies for genomic and proteomic research, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical research, horticultural and plant physiological research and timber research.
Nurseryman Tray®
Southern Sun has created a specially sized Nurseryman® Tray for use with The Nurseryman’s™ patented subirrigation and acclimatization system. The high box sides create microenvironments within the system’s tables that increase humidity and better protect early stage embryos, tissue and plants. The trays are sized to tightly hold ninety (90) 0.70” (18mm) plugs or forty (40) 1” (25mm) plugs.
